JOSEPH - Best Man
Joseph and I met while working at an arcade called POJO’S. We became instant friends though our love for practical jokes, chess, and looking at the world differently. Joseph and I have been banned from five different restaurant establishments for playing chess and talking about politics. Joseph loves to spend time with his family. When Joseph is not spending time with his family, he studies everything under the sun because his lifelong goal is to make it on Jeopardy. I will end it with this, our personalities are so similar that during dinner with my grandmother, she could not tell us apart.
KRISTINE - Maid of Honor, Carla’s sister
My sister and I (Carla) are about a year and a half apart. We’ve traveled the world together. We were both born in the Philippines, then lived in New York, New Mexico, Idaho, and Japan. Kristine studies Public Relations and Communications in New York. She enjoys spending time with her fiance, Will, Israeli cuisine, photography, fashion, and playing with her two dogs, Lady and Tucker. Her favorite quote fits her well, “Chase your dreams, but always know the road that will lead you home again.” I love my sister so much. I would not be the person I am today if she was not in my life. She is an inspiration, she encourages me to follow my heart, and challenges me and pushes me to become a better person.
I love you, Kristine.
Gifts
Dearest friend, if you would like to give in a special way, here’s the scope.
We are passionate about two causes. Another way to give a wedding gift to us is to bless what is truly close to our hearts. Please let us know if you choose to do this, just write, “In honor of your day, we gave a gift to ______!”
Here are the two causes. The first is the Horn of Africa Crisis and the second is to fight modern slavery. Visit the sites to find out more information on how to donate online…
1. Horn of Africa Food Crisis Site: http://donate.worldvision.org
2. Fight Modern Slavery Site: http://www.thea21campaign.org
Everything will be processed online, so R.S.V.P. by May 9, 2012 in our E-vite. If you have any questions, e-mail: CarlaMarieA@gmail.com.
We are excited to see you!

MEET THE MEN.
Terry W. Wilson… Terry and I met while working at Best Buy. We became instant friends and we both realized that we may have actually been twins. We were able to convince several of our coworkers that we actually were twins with different parents. Terry has a huge heart for people and is always willing to help anyone around him.
Moses Kameshima… Moses and I met at a group called Intervarsity. Moses and I became friends rather quickly since we were considered the old men of the group. Moses is one of the most kind hearted and gentle people I have ever met. He loves to just sit back and chill and soak in the moments with you. Putting us together is very dangerous. We go from crazy idea to application in t-minus 0 seconds.
Jeremy Galvin… Jeremy and I also met at Intervarsity. We were some of the founding members and watched the group grow into something awesome. Jeremy and I would always sit back and tell stories and try to make each other laugh. Jeremy is one of the most compassionate individuals on the planet. He has inspired me to be better to my fellow men.
Dr. Danny Bolledulla… Danny is the final member in the Intervarsity trio that emerged. Danny is one of the most brilliant people I have ever met. He takes things that are incredibly complex and makes them seem very simple. Danny is an individual who values community. He will go out of his way to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated.
Mike Haberkorn… Mike and I met at a college group bible study I attended when I was 18. Mike and I became instant friends over our love for Jesus and Battle. Mike truly has a warrior spirit and a heart for those around him. Mike was one of the people who showed me how to be a Godly man.
MEET THE LADIES.
How did we meet?
Katrina: Katrina and I met when we were about eight years old. My mother and her mother were best friends in the Philippines. She has seen me in most of my stages of life, from dancing with red polka dot shorts to experiencing the roller coasters that life can bring (literally and metaphorically). She is extended family. Katrina loves salsa dancing, traveling, sushi, and interior design. She’s a true New Jersey girl to the end.
Rachael: Rachael and I met during a service project in Tacoma, Washington. We volunteered with Martin Luther King Housing Development Association “painting a brothel-turned-affordable-housing-for-seniors-and-working class folks, uprooting dead bushes and trees and planting new azaleas, new seeds” (Green). She is a true encouragement in my life. She is passionate about intercultural relationships, world cultures, and was the first person to take me raspberry picking in Oregon.
Alicia: Alicia and I met in Kappa Alpha Theta. She has been my roommate, sorority sister, and so much more. Alicia has definitely seen the up’s and down’s and has never left my side. In college, we both attended Christian Life Center in Moscow, Idaho. She is my dearest friend and sister. She loves children, singing, drama (as in plays), and will soon be student teaching in Washington.
Tori: Tori and I are Kappa Alpha Theta sisters. We are also both Air Force Military Brats! Go Air Force! Currently Tori is living in Boston, Massachusetts, singing her heart out, and following her dreams. Whether it’s volunteering or singing for an audience, Tori inspires me. She has been a part of Relay for Life for over five years and is a voice in the fight against cancer. Tori has the biggest heart for serving others and always knows how to make me laugh. I could not have survived college/life without her. She is the best sister and friend.
Kat: Kat and I are Kappa Alpha Theta sisters. Kat is also one of the reasons I started following Jesus in my life. Kat led “Dance for Justice” in the University of Idaho. The goal was to raise money towards stopping human trafficking. If you don’t know about human trafficking, please learn more at: http://www.thea21campaign.org. Currently Kat continues to design and create, and serve. In the summer of 2011, she was part of a service project to Thailand. Feel free to ask her more about her trip.
Love,
Carla Marie
